a. Prospectus : Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University, Patan publishes a prospectus which provides important information of the college as well as the Admission form. The prospectus contains all details pertaining to a particular programme that a new entrant to this college ought to know prior to his admission. Ours is a grant-in-aid institution. The admission process is quite transparent. The admission process of the Bachelor of Rural Studies programme is given a wide publicity through our prospectus as well as advertisement in the local newspapers, etc.
b. Institutional Website : Shri B M Shah Mahavidyalay has planned to launch its website and it will be feasible in near future.
c. Advertisement in Regional/ National Newspapers : Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University, Patan has established an Admission Cell for admission to the First Year Bachelor of Rural Studies (B.R.S) Class. Prior to the announcement of results of the Gujarat Higher Secondary Education Board, an advertisement in the local newspapers is, published by the university, inviting application from candidates seeking admissions. The Admission Cell prepares a Merit List from the applications received and calls them for counseling. The Admission Cell grants admission strictly on the basis of merit prepared according to the rules and regulations laid
down by the Government and the University. We follow the reservation rules of the State Government as well as the Union Government as under:
